The Hajj Pilgrimage is the central most important event of the Islamic faith where Muslims of all races and tongues gather together for one of life’s greatest spiritual experience. Pilgrimage takes place every year between the 8th and the 13th days of Dhu al-Hijjah.

Then...
Soon-there-after, pilgrims will be allowed to remove their “ihram” and return to regular everyday clothing. Men will sometimes shave their hair and women will cut off a symbolic lock. This serves as humility and starting anew.
